Coupling strap

A tie-down strap (ratchet) is a mechanism by which goods are secured during transportation to prevent their spontaneous slipping, movement or overturning.
The tie-down strap is made of a light and elastic textile tape with a tensioning device, therefore, with its help, the goods are securely and firmly fixed, and during transportation, the possibility of damage is excluded. Also, the advantage of tie-down straps is their ease of use, which in turn significantly reduces the time spent during loading and unloading operations.

When using fastening belts, weight, friction-slip coefficient, as well as the shape of the transported load are taken into account. It is recommended to use at least two straps when clamping. With direct fastening, the working load is taken into account.

Below are instructions for using the lashing straps.

• Only undamaged belts are used.
• Belts are located evenly on the surface of the fixed load.
• The load on the belts does not exceed the maximum allowable working load.
• The straps are not tied into a knot.
• Belts do not stretch over sharp edges or sharp surfaces.
• Install the belts so that they are not twisted and wrap around the load to the full width.
• Straps are only used as a means of securing, not for lifting loads.
• There must be clear markings.
• Belts are checked for damage before use.
