Wedge clamp (thimble with insert) for rope

Rope wedge clamp (thimble with insert / wedge sleeve) is used for reliable fastening of a steel rope. For example, on crane booms, in electric hoists, etc. In this case, the rope must not only be firmly fixed in the termination, but also not be damaged during operation.

The clamp is hung with a finger, a rope is passed through it and fixed with a wedge.

Fastening the end of the rope with a wedge clamp is reliable and self-sufficient, not requiring an additional (“safety”) method of fastening. However, those who wish can use terminations of the free ends of the ropes after the wedge sleeve for convenience or a more aesthetic appearance of the structure.
