The omega-shaped shackle is widely used for connecting rigging elements to each other or attaching to other parts of the cargo equipment, when a reliable and quick-release fastening is required. The rigging elements of lifting equipment traditionally include: slings, cables, chains, spreaders and hooks. Shackled rigging structures are great for lifting and moving loads. Also, staples can be used to fasten tugs and create safety structures.

The bracket kit includes a bolt and nut. The bolt can be equipped with a cotter pin to prevent self-unscrewing of the nuts. The pin is inserted into the hole, and then the protruding ends are bent to the sides.

When using the shackle for lifting operations, the fastening to the load being lifted should be carried out only by the pin (finger) of the shackle.

There is also a type of bracket with a bolt and internal thread (used without a nut). But if during the lifting operation a deformation of the bolt (even a small one) occurs, then this can also lead to deformation of the internal thread. Accordingly, the bolt will be difficult to get and it is possible that it will not be possible to insert a new one.
