Link RT3

Pt3 type lifting links are the most common connecting elements in the production of slings.

The PT3 link differs from the PT1 link in smaller dimensions, while maintaining the load capacity and thickening in the upper corner. Due to the slight compression of the round steel, the upper corner of the sling becomes more durable.

The size and weight of the link depends on its carrying capacity.

Purpose

The triangular detachable link is used as the upper end element of the sling. The lyre-shaped form of the link has found wide application in the manufacture of multi-branch slings.

The split link design is more versatile than T-type links. Pt-type links are made from round steel by cold or hot bending. The Pt3 link is used for the manufacture of multi-branch slings of the "spider" type, it is smaller than Pt1, while maintaining the carrying capacity, as well as thickening in the upper corner.

Pt links are not recommended for use in 1SK and 3SK type slings (an odd number of branches), since the load is unevenly distributed over the link corners.

The design and dimensions of the Pt links of the Pt3 version, operated in areas with a temperate climate, must correspond to those indicated in the table.
