Model description

Turnbuckles or ties are simple and reliable devices designed to tension and adjust the length of ropes, cables, chains. The main areas of application of turnbuckles are the installation and stretching of match, stretch marks, advertising signs, suspended and high-altitude work. Turnbuckles consist of two threaded bolts and a body into which they are screwed. Turnbuckle length adjustment is achieved by rotating the turnbuckle body around its axis. Turnbuckles are distinguished by the bearing working load, as well as the type of end structure of bolted connections: fork-bolt-nut, hook, ear, ring. According to their purpose, lanyards are divided into cargo and assembly. This section presents cargo lanyards made of high strength steel and having a higher breaking load compared to general purpose rigging lanyards.

Lanyard type "Hamburg" is used to regulate the tension of wires, cables, ropes, chains. Turnbuckle load forces are calculated for axial tension, while side loads are not allowed. The "Hamburg" lanyard is used for securing cargo on sea and river vessels, screeding logs, screeding cargo during storage and transportation.

The design consists of 2 loops fastened with a threaded rod. The tightening process takes place by winding the loop along the thread of the rod. The product is made of durable material - high-carbon steel grade 8, which allows the item to be operated outdoors or in a damp environment.

The tension margin is 240 mm.
